I LOVE this Hold Everything Bag free pattern by Jean Bailey for All People Quilt. It's a simple construction, but it turns out classy and gorgeous. For an added touch, fill it with some other treats for mom-- like tea, chocolate, and a new pair of earrings

2) Easy Zipper Pouch

From holding pens and pencils to makeup or first aid supplies, zippy pouches are a MUST in my life. Amber at Crazy Little Projects wrote this easy to follow tutorial, and I love how easy it is to change up the size! One or two of these could also be tossed in a tote bag as "bonus gifts."

3) Basic Wallet

While we're making bag accessories, how about a nice wallet? I'm so impressed with the "user friendly" nature of this free tutorial from Jodie of the Fort Worth Fabric Studio! Make it it Mama's favorite colors or fabrics for a truly thoughtful and useful gift! (and maybe tuck a gift card for coffee or dinner inside!)

4) Scrappy Table Runner

Maybe your Mama is more the eat in rather than the going out type. This easy, lovely table runner by Kristin Esser of Simple. Handmade. Everyday. will add a cheerful touch to her table. Bonus points if you make her one for each season!

5) Simple Mug Rug

Whether your follow my quick and easy tutorial or use a pattern like my friend Lindsay's, a mug rug is the perfect way to add a handmade touch to an easy gift bundle-- just at a pretty (or witty) mug and a gift card to Mama's favorite coffee/tea shop! Add this little printable tag, too, to make sure Mom knows how handy a mug rug is!

6) Soup Bowl Cozy

 Bowl cozies were hot, hot, hot this year (no pun intended), and if your mama doesn't have any yet, now is the perfect time! They pretty up snack bowls and make it easy to curl up on the couch with a hot bowl of soup. 

7) A Weekend Quilt
